We'll certainly be back for more as soon as we can.

My wife and I were sailing on the Star Princess during the first week of December 2005 and really wanted to do some snorkeling in Cozumel. We had heard that there was some fabulous things to see there, but we were concerned that the hurricanes would make that difficult.

After reading some great reviews about Mayan Paradise Tours, we contacted Gary to find out if we could get on a snorkeling tour for the day we were to be in Cozumel. Gary was extremely helpful and friendly and assured us that we would have a great time. Based on Gary's enthusiasm and encouragement, we booked a trip.

We not only booked a trip where a boat would take us to some offshore reefs, but we also decided to try some Snuba... kind of a scuba diving with training wheels. Although we are fairly new to snorkeling, Gary told us we would also enjoy Snuba diving. Boy was he right!

We got off the ship and it was a short distance to the boat marina where our tour would begin. We were greeted by a wonderful crew who couldn't do enough for us. We were warmly greeted by Juan, our snorkeling guide, and Ivan our Snuba guide and the rest of the crew. They told us all about what we were in for on this over 3 hour trip. They went over all we needed to know to in order to Snuba so by the time we hit the water we were very comfortable.

Though the price of the tour was very reasonable, we couldn't have been treated with more care and attention. Juan guided us to some great snorkeling and pointed out things we surely would have missed on our own... including 4 amazing Eagle Rays which were amazingly beautiful and graceful. Even though the hurricanes had done some damage, the crew took us to sites where we could really see a tremendous amount.

When it was time to Snuba, my wife was a bit nervous with this new experience... No problem, Ivan took her by the hand and personally guided her through the wonderful underwater world. If you have never tried Snuba before, do it! It increases the snorkeling experience ten times over... We can't wait to do it again.

While on the boat, we were offered all the refreshments we could ever want including fresh cut fruit and chips... and after we were finished with the Snuba, some great local beer. A perfect end to a wonderful day.

If you are planning a trip to Cozumel, don't miss the chance to take a trip with our friends at Mayan Paradise Tours... I promise you it will be all you could hope for and more... Great snorkeling and snuba... great people and a great time is had by all. I know we'll certainly be back for more as soon as we can.
