There are bigger dive operators on Provo, but none better! Ocean Vibes caters to small groups of divers and offers personalized service. They provide lunch while gassing off between dives. The lunch is served on a gorgeous beach, or in view of an undeveloped Cay. The scenery is absolutely stunning. The environment adds an element to fantastic diving that makes it even more memorable and remarkable.

My 14-year-old and I had a five day dive package with Wayne Hall and Ocean Vibes. The weather was perfect the entire trip. We were able to meet the dive boat at the beach across from our hotel. It is like getting picked up at your front door. Wayne and Julie took care of equipment, and we basically had valet diving. The boat was never crowded. Wayne basically serves a repeat clientele. The other divers who were on the boat had all dived with Wayne before, and do so yearly, or on each trip to Provo. Wayne and his crew's knowledge of the reefs, marine life, and animal behavior are sure to enhance your diving. The reefs on Provo are very healthy. There is little damage and few indications of destructive algae.

Each dive provided gorgeous reef, bountiful amounts of juvenile reef fish, and larger pelagic. We saw large turtles on 3 dives, and small turtles on 3 other dives. We saw reef sharks on 5 of 10 dives. The walls were beautiful, and the shallow reefs were incredible.

Dives were guided, dive limits were explained. Dive briefings were enlightening and entertaining. (Diving the reefs around Provo can be somewhat advanced due to depth. Understanding and using a computer is highly recommended by this writer to increase safety and maximize bottom time.) Wayne knows the reefs and understands fish behavior, which helped ensure the dives were extraordinary.
